How to Onboard Students

Student Accounts is quick to set up, and makes assigning activities super simple.
Invite Codes
Step 1: Find your Invite Code.
This code is unique to your school/district and is used to link new students to your account.
You can find your invite code in your dashboard under the "Students" tab, or it may be provided to you by a School/District administrator or a MegaMinds staff member.
Please note that the code used in this guide is just an example.
Signing Up
Step 2: Tell your students to sign up
They can use gomegaminds.com (Sign Up in the top right corner) or using the following direct link: https://dash.megaminds.world/signup
Students create an account by entering their email and a password, or by using a Single Sign On system such as Google or Clever.
Some teachers prefer signing up their students by manually creating their accounts on behalf of the student. That is fine - just follow the same steps.
After logging in with their email and password to create their account, Students must choose the "Student" option:
In the next page, students fill out their First and Last names, and the Invite Code from earlier:
After clicking "Join Class", the student has finished signing up and redirected to their dashboard:
Confirming
After your students sign up, you can verify that they are registered in your "Students" tab:
Creating Assignments
Now that your students are onboarded, they will show up when you create an assignment from the Library:
After creating the assignment, it will show up in the student's dashboard. For example, here we assigned "Pythagorean Theorem" to the Example Name student:
